GREAT WAY TO NOT THOW THINGS AWAY!

I have been using TRASHIE TAKE-BACK BAGS for a number of years now and I cannot think of a single reason why anyone would not use them!! They save textiles by sending them to be recycled and reused, rather than to one’s local landfill. And the program is SO EASY!! Just get the BAG or BOX! Fill it to the brim, seal it and take it to the shipping place! That’s all there is to it! It really is that easy! And Trashie takes just about anything! I recommend it to everyone!

It seems counterintuitive to pay to get rid of textiles but its worth it to me . I was able to “dispose” of event tshirts and worn clothing while trusting they will be kept from the landfills. Very easy: fill, label, drop off. DONE!

Keeping textile waste out of landfills

I love this program! It makes me feel better that the bulk of these textiles won’t be going to landfill! I forget each time how much stuff can fit in these bags.
