This dress was a great addition to my teaching/summer wardrobe. It had enough weight to it to hang nicely without being bulky. I tied a flannel around my waist and wore a denim jacket and converse for a southern winter day of teaching and it was perfect. Can’t wait to wear it when it warms up. I really loved the length and feel of this piece. this is a great staple. From the images I didn't realize the split was so high up on the side leg, so it feels "open" at times when sitting or getting in and out of the car. Overall though, I really love it and it has washed great.
