Just rating the carrier itself, it’s amazing. Super comfortable for both of us. He (8lb Chihuahua) goes everywhere and has many bags and this one by far is the best. Looks great. Very functional with all of its pockets. Very secure with it’s clips and heavy zipper. Even has a D-ring on the outside for my keys. He’s very warm in it in the winter so summer will probably be too hot however. He has plenty of room for a plush blanket and is able to lay down comfortably. Now, that being said, here’s a review of the sustainability portion. The only thing sustainable about this bag is that the tag claims it’s made from 80 water bottles. It’s made in china which means it was shipped from China. It came wedged into a box and that left no room for movement and also it’s a soft bag that doesn’t need protection but it came with 2 large pieces of packing paper shoved into the box. The bag was wrapped in a heavy duty shipping plastic. The zipper was wrapped in tissue paper and tape. The removable mat was in a heavy duty plastic and then a heavy duty paper under that. I’ve ordered from actual sustainable companies many times and this is absolutely NOT one.
